Nick and Austin from Buckingham Electric Inc. came to my house to install a 30-amp Inlet for my stand-alone generator which included a 75 ft 30-amp cord. They gave me a courtesy call when they’re about 14 minutes from arriving. They were polite, courteous and fast with the installation and also showed me how to use the outlet. I could not recommend Buckingham Electric any higher and especially Nick and Austin who did a great job.

Our AFCIs began to fail, tripping constantly. Such a nuisance! Buckingham Electric Inc. replaced the first couple. They came back some months later to replace the next couple that were acting up. To avoid repeated service calls, we decided they should replace all the breakers. Good communication, prompt scheduling, arrive on time, finish the work efficiently, with cost on the low end (about $88 per breaker, material and labor). Quick and easy, no surprises. Can’t ask for more. Derek, Preston, Austin. Buckingham is our electrician of choice for as long as we own the home.

We highly recommend Derek and his team for any electrical needs, and he will definitely be “our electrician” in the future! He was able to make it out very quickly for a real estate inspection when we had a deadline, and very thoroughly inspected and communicated the concerns with the home. The work was completed the same day as closing, making our new property safe (due to previous wiring issues) and ready for move in. We also had other work completed including ceiling fan, exhaust fans, and outlet installs. Derek was very accommodating of our schedule, worked efficiently, friendly, cleaned up well, and extremely knowledgeable!

We recently had our master bathroom remodeled. It was quite an ordeal. We had several people coming and going five to six days per week. The individuals from this company were friendly, professional and answered all our questions. Nick the electrician was focused on every detail of this project. He seemed to never stop. There were a lot of aspects to cover with roughing in the electrical elements to begin the work and coming back to complete it. Austin was his helper, who was very mannerly and thorough as well. These two are a good team. We had a follow-up issue with a breaker cutting off due to excessive use. These two came back, assessed the problem, and fixed it quickly. I would recommend this company for any electrical issues, big or small. We will continue to use them.

As a rule, I do not go out of my way to recommend a service provider. I will make an exception for Derek Gladding and his associate Brandon of Buckingham Electric out of Asheville. From the initial contact to the correction of the issue, I found Buckingham Electric to be professional, efficient and personable. Derek confirmed the appointment in advance and called enroute to provide his anticipated arrival time. They absolutely had the chance to take advantage of my limited experience with electrical systems, they did not. The simple was an easy fix. While they were in the house they helped me understand some of the electrical systems in the house since it was recently purchased. Buckingham Electric is in a word – IMPRESSIVE.
